While Asus and MSI have a growing list of impressive products, they are still known to have some problems with their laptops/desktops, especially the MSI ones.

From my personal experience with Asus for example, my laptop’s USB port suddenly died. Luckily it was under warranty so it got replaced right away.

The most common problems users have with Asus or Msi laptops is hardware failure, overheating and bad customer service. Of the three, bad customer service seems to be most predominant for both manufacturers.

That being said, if you want something that’ll last and won’t break as quickly as others, then Asus is the better option. You can guarantee that an Asus laptop (most of them anyway) will be of more sturdy build than their Msi counterparts.

Overall, both Asus and Msi laptops are great laptop brands but of all the things that matter when it comes to laptops, customer service seems to be more prevalent in these two companies.

When it comes to gaming laptops, Asus laptops usually have better graphic cards than Msi at similar price points.

That being said, the latest Nvidia graphics card does not come with Asus gaming laptops and you’ll have to fork out more money if you want something that’s already on the latest technology standard.

On the other hand, Msi laptops are more likely to have a cooling system that’s better than Asus’ and as such is less likely to overheat when subjected to heavy gaming sessions. That being said, it might not be as reliable as an Asus laptop with its dual fans but it’ll do you good for now.
